LeMoyne-Owen College alum Smokey Gaines, first Black Division I basketball coach in California, dies (9/5/2020)

Coach Gaines life and accomplishments are an inspiration for others to follow.  He was a true Trailblazer of the highest order and worthy of study in African-American history.
