How former Penn State assistant Charles Huff bucked trends to become a major-college head coach
The former Hampton Pirates walk-on fullback and center resume does show HBCU stops at Tennessee State (2006-2008) and Hampton (2010). Coach Huff is a 2005 alum of Hampton University and has served as a position coach at 6 Power 5 schools and the Buffalo Bills (2012). Huff proves that with an HBCU foundation--you can go straight to the top of your profession with hard work and perseverance!!!
