Vernon Jordan, who rose to prominence as a civil rights activist with close connections in all corners of US politics, has died

The Honorable Vernon E. Jordan, Jr. earned his J.D. degree at Howard University Law School in 1960 and is a member of the Omega Psi Phi and Sigma Pi Phi fraternities.
