Meet Larry Johnson, OSU's First Black Head Football Coach
Long before this former Elizabeth City State University NAIA All-American became known at the college level, Coach Johnson built a legendary rep as the head football coach at Maurice McDonough High School, Pomfret, Maryland (Southern Maryland) amassing a record of 139-36, earning three 3A State Football Championships. Johnson also coached T.C. Williams High School, Alexandria, Virginia ("Remember the Titans" movie fame) for two seasons. #BroncosMade!
