Baseball's Representation Problem: Where are the Black baseball heroes?
A reasonable funding stream by MLB to HBCUs baseball programs will solve this systemic problem for the big leagues. In other words, pay your farm system for the work they are doing for MLB in developing prospects. Otherwise, productive teams will continue to shut down like NCCU just did due to the lack of funding. The Eagles produced three MLB draft picks in their history.
