Korey Steele, No. 3 ranked high school triple jumper in U.S. has decided to continue his academic and athletic career at North Carolina A&T State University

Bloomfield, CT --  Korey Steele of Bloomfield High School (CT) has selected North Carolina A&T State University Aggies as his college home.  The 2021 high school graduate has a national best of 48-8 in the triple jump.  He was chasing the national leader at 50-1/4 and the second place holder at 49-7 this past season.

Throughout his high school career, he competed against 6'-5" teammate Sean Dixon-Bodie, who was the No.1 TJ during his high school career. Dixon-Bodie competed this past year as an LSU freshman  and helped the Tigers win the Outdoor Track and Field National Championship.  Steele is 6'-1" and has speed as his great asset.

So, Steele is accustomed to stiff competition and was able to improve on his junior year indoor PR 48-0.25.  He finished his high school career tied with one other high school jumper for the No.3 best jump distance in the U.S.  He chose N.C. A&T; not LSU, Alabama, Georgia  UConn, Harvard or UCLA.  You get the picture.
