Coach Prime posed to make a bunch of money on JSU Game Ticket Sales Revenue.and Other Incentives

Washington, D.C.-- I am not mad at Coach Prime for negotiating a very favorable contract for himself to coach at Jackson State. Most coaches that know their value would have done the same in their contract negotiations with JSU or any institution.

What's interesting are the incentives tied to game ticket sales revenue, and season ticket sales. As JSU is achieving historic levels in attendance, 10 percent of those ticket sales gross revenues above 30,000 butts in seats flows directly to Coach Prime. Same of season tickets sales above 10,000 season tickets sold.

Combined with championship targets hopefully achieved, the forecast is his take for this season will be closer to $600,000-$650,000 bucks. His base contract is $300,000 annually before the incentives are kicked in.

Extra Points with Matt Brown breaks it all down by category, who obtained a copy of Coach Prime contract under a public records request.
