CO' 22 Texas State 6A Silver Medalist | Sprinter Tyler Symone Brown committed to Florida A&M University and the Rattlers Women Track and Field Program
Arlington, Texas - Tyler Symone Brown, a key member of James Bowie High School Lady Vols 4x200m relay 6A state runner up has committed to Florida A&M University. Record breaker relay members were Janet Nkwoparah, Camryn Vasher, Tyler Symone Brown and Bailey Johnson.
The Dallas Morning News reported: "Bowie ran the nation’s third-best time in the 4x200, 1:35.89, but had to settle for a second-place finish at state. That’s because Alvin Shadow Creek won the state title in 1:35.14 — the fifth-best time in state history and the No. 1 time in the nation in 2022. Bowie’s time would have won the 6A state title in 2021 by more than a second."
The academically talented Tyler Brown represented Bowie High School as class president for three consecutive years. She is a native Floridian and will be returning to her hometown — in pursuit of greatness on the highest of seven hills. Welcome FAMUly!!
