Retired FAMU Music Department Chairman and Director of Bands, Dr. Julian E. White To Be Inducted Into The NBA Hall of Fame of Distinguished Conductors

Dr. White, a retired Distinguished Professor of Music at FAMU will join the legendary (late) Dr. William P. Foster, creator of the FAMU Incomparable Marching 100 Band, as an inductee into the NBA Hall of Fame.  Dr. White will join in the NBA HOF 60 other accomplished music legends and conductors, such as Henry Fillmore, John Philip Sousa, Karl King, William D. Revelli and Paul V. Yoder.

This is a well-deserved honor for Dr. White.  Drs. Foster and White are the only HBCU conductors in the National Band Director Association Hall of Fame.  Congrats and Hubba Doc!
