Savannah State University has three finalists for its football head coaching job, the Savannah Morning News has learned. The finalists are Steve Davenport, running backs coach at the University of Alabama-Birmingham; Everette Sands, running backs coach at The Citadel; and Earnest Wilson, offensive coordinator at Jackson State University, SSU sports information director Opio Mashariki confirmed Thursday morning.
