BALTIMORE -- Lamar Twitty scored 16 points leading Florida A&M to a 63-48 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory over Coppin State on Monday in the Coppin Center.
Florida A&M (6-11, 2-3 MEAC) shot 51.1 percent from the floor, while Coppin State was limited to 28.3 percent shooting.
Coppin State (4-15, 0-5 MEAC) lost in the Coppin Center to Florida A&M for the first time since the 2002-03 season. Akini Akini and Jon Mason each added 11 points for Florida A&M.
