Richmond, Ky. – Visiting Tennessee State scored 51 second half points while shooting 61.5 percent from the floor to earn an 89-70 victory over the Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team Saturday night in McBrayer Arena. The Colonels (14-15, 10-10 OVC) concluded the regular season with five straight conference losses.
For Tennessee State, Bruce Price finished with 20 points and a game-high six assists. Three other Tigers recorded double figures – Jerrell Houston (19 points), Gerald Robinson (18) and LaDarious Weaver (12). TSU will be the No. 6 seed in the upcoming OVC tournament.
