HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- In front of a large crowd of Alabama A&M alums, supporters, family and staff, Head Football Coach James Spady and his coaches provided a unique look inside the world of high school recruiting.
"I'd like to let you inside the war room, so to speak," he said at Wednesday night's Signing Day Celebration, which included taking questions from the audience in the School of Business's Foster Multipurpose Room. "Recruiting is the life blood of the football program. In fact, we are recruiting right now for 2016.
"Recruiting this class didn't start a couple days ago. It started last year."
The Bulldogs signed 19 student-athletes Wednesday - two quarterbacks, four offensive linemen, six defensive linemen, five defensive backs, one wide receiver and one tight end.
