Tuskegee Golden Tigers Ink 24 on Signing Day

TUSKEGEE, Alabama -- The Tuskegee University football program is pleased to welcome 24 incomparable young men as the newest surge Golden Tigers. Each player was recruited meticulously and they are expected to be high impact student-athletes.

Tuskegee signed several players on each side of the ball; this includes five offensive linemen, two tight ends, two wide receivers, two fullbacks and a quarterback. Defensively, the Golden Tigers added four defensive backs, three linebackers, two linemen and one athlete. On special teams, Tuskegee inked a long snapper and a kicker/punter.

Head Football Coach Willie Slater stated, "We are happy about the guys that we signed thus far. The first stage has been set now we have to get them here. They have to finish their high school work strong and we have to get them enrolled. This is just the beginning; we will continue the recruiting process."
