Any College Town, USA -- Tucked away in your or your child's college tuition bill are massive fees for the athletic department. Higher Ed has been placing the burden on students, closing academic programs left and right, yet maintaining and funding athletics. Those funds should be going towards the academic departments. Instead, colleges are spendings 7x more on average today towards athletics than academics, and show no signs of stopping. It's time to stop and ask where your money is going and why.
