HARTLEY, Delaware – North Carolina A&T was a unanimous choice but Bowie State's lead narrowed on top of the HSRN Football Polls following week 11 of the season. The Aggies remained alone in first place in the HSRN Division I Poll, while Bowie State's first place lead narrowed to just one point in HSRN's Division II/NAIA Poll.
Division I/FCS
Nine of the top ten spots were unchanged from last week. The only change was Hampton moving in to the #9 position, replacing Alabama State, who move out of the top 10
Division II/NAIA
Despite being knocked off by a last second field goal, Bowie State held onto first place by a single point. The Bulldogs were pushed by #2 ginia Union and both teams received bids to the NCAA Division II Playoffs. Winston-Salem State jumped to third place after winning the CIAA Championship over BSU. Tuskegee, another playoff participant, fell to fourth. SIAC Champion Miles College round out the top five.
