ST. LOUIS, Missouri -- Earlier this summer, the Harris-Stowe State University Athletics Department announced that they would be bringing back Track and Field. After the hiring of Fred Lewis as the Director, Lewis has been very optimistic about how this season could play out."This 2018-19 school year at Harris-Stowe State University will encompass great thing: the largest incoming class, superior academics,an increase of college degrees and the start of new track and field greatness. This transformation of the track program is my destiny. A life of developing state record, collegiate champions, Olympians, and World caliber athletes around the world has no comparison to the opportunity of helping develop college graduates. There is no better place to have this success but in St Louis at a HBCU, particularly at HSSU."
