BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — The 2018 SWAC Basketball Tip-Off Media Day Teleconference has been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m until noon CT.All 20 SWAC women’s and men’s basketball head coaches will be available to preview their upcoming seasons and field questions from the media.
SWAC Director of Communications Peter Holehan will moderate the call. All recordings of the transcripts will become available later that day for the media’s usage through e-mail upon request.
At the top of the call, the All-SWAC Preseason First and Second Team selections as well as the Preseason Players of the Year, Defensive Players of the Year and the predicted orders of finish for all member institutions will also be revealed. The vote will be conducted from each school’s sports information director for their assigned sport and each head coach.
