Spring practice the last few weeks was important for the Alabama State football team. Fall camp, which will begin around the first of August, will be equally meaningful.The significance of both, however, might pale in comparison to the three and a half months in between. "This is the most crucial time for us -- the summer before fall camp starts," ASU head coach Reggie Barlow said. "We'll learn during this time what we're going to be. We'll find out a lot about our team."
