“We looked at it and figured out he had another year when he told us at the end of the season,” Nivens said. “He said, ‘Coach, I have another year.’ I said, ‘Really, that’s good. That’s good. That will give me more depth, more guys with experience up front.’” The confusion stemmed from when Stewart initially transferred from Nicholls State.
