Versus announced Thursday it will broadcast the Atlanta Football Classic game between Tennessee State and Florida A&M on Sept. 27. It is the first time in the game's 20-year history that is has been televised nationally. Versus reaches approximately 73 million homes."We feel that given the tradition and historic rivalries featured … it is truly an event of national significance,'' said Marc Fein, executive vice president of programming, production and business operations for Versus. Kickoff will be at 3 p.m. This will mark the 10th consecutive year that TSU and Florida A&M have appeared in the Atlanta game. Florida A&M has won the last six.
