TUSCALOOSA, AL | Senior wide receiver Fred Rouse caught five passes Saturday night, but every time he touched the football he seemed to cause problems for the Stillman Tigers. Rouse caught two touchdown passes in the first half — one for 72 yards — and Concordia College from Selma held on to defeat Stillman 18-17.“I knew he was a big-time football player,” said Stillman coach L.C. Cole. “It was just hard for us to stop him with those young freshmen defensive backs. Again, that's where they took advantage of us. It's something we have to keep working on. Rome wasn't built in a day. We have to keep chipping at it, chipping at it, and then it'll turn for us.”
