NASHVILLE, Tennessee - Tennessee State football added a few wrinkles to the offense on Wednesday as the Tigers near the backstretch of spring practice.
Coach Rod Reed and the coaching staff added a few more offensive plays and started the day with goal line scenarios.
"We took the first 13 plays or so to focus on goal line situations," said Reed. "We then shifted our focus to 7-on-7 before turning to individual workouts."
TSUTigers.com sat down with quarterbacks coach Jeff Parker to discuss the return of OVC Freshman of the Year Michael German and a look at how the quarterback situation sits for the fall.
TSU takes a final scrimmage on Saturday at Hale Stadium. The scrimmage is slated for a 9:15 a.m. start.
Next week provides a full slate of activities for Big Blue fans. The Tigers host the annual Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie Celebrity Slam Jam on Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. The TSU Legends football game with Vanderbilt takes place Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m. followed by the Blue-White Spring game at 3:30 p.m.
