Stillman men reach SIAC quarterfinals
ATLANTA | Justin Harris scored 17 points off the bench, leading a balanced scoring attack for the Stillman College men’s basketball team in an 84-77 defeat of Clark Atlanta on Tuesday night in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.
Ladarius Rhone had 15 points, Markeith Madison 14, Jeffrey Wherry 12 and Maurice Crenshaw 10 for the Tigers (18-9). Jerrel Joye led Clark Atlanta (4-23) with 16 points.
Stillman, the No. 2 seed in the West Division, will play Paine, a 75-73 winner over LeMoyne-Owen, in a quarterfinal at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
