SIAC Tournament: Lane College can't make opening round game due to inclement weather, forfeits


BIRMINGHAM, Alabama  -- This is other side of college athletics, away from the glitz and glamour of big-time Division I football and basketball where chartered flights are the norm.

This is where something such as an unexpected cold front can bring a team's season,and for three Lane College seniors, Tony Payne, Sha'Mar Nolen and Georgio Alexander,a career to a end prematurely.
