MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- From Day 1, Alabama State first-year head football coach Brian Jenkins has asked for Hornet Nation to come together.Wednesday, in front of almost 150 patrons at the ASU Stadium Club Lounge, Jenkins introduced his new recruits for the first time at the inaugural ASU Signing Day Bash.
The Hornets signed 15 players to their football program, of which three come from the state of Alabama.
"Our plan was to look nationwide," Jenkins said. "We took the time to select players that will start a legacy for us here at Alabama State. We've put together what we feel is a very strong class."
