The Gold Nuggets (14-11, 7-2 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference) moved three victories above .500 for the first time since Dec. 15.
Mayfield also had three assists and two blocked shots and hit her only 3-point attempt. The double-double was her first since Nov. 15, and she reached double figures in rebounds for the third consecutive game.
Whitney Gathright and Vinnie Briggs scored 11 points apiece for Xavier. Gathright had four assists and three steals. Kelsee Singleton had eight points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots.
Keosha Hardaway scored 17 points, Kimberly Gordon 13 and LaSherria Sprinkle 11 for Voorhees (4-15, 0-8), which dropped its ninth in a row.
Xavier led wire-to-wire. After building a 42-23 halftime lead, the Gold Nuggets twice stretched the lead to 28 points.
Xavier made 30 field goals to tie a season high, outshot the Lady Tigers 41.1 to 38.9 percent from the floor and outrebounded them 45-32. Xavier gained a season-high-tying 28 turnovers.
The Gold Nuggets will play Talladega at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Convocation Center in the first game of a doubleheader. Xavier's 18th-ranked men will play No. 3 Talladega in the second game at 7:30.
