NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- Tennessee State offensive lineman Robert Myers was invited to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine, which will take place in Indianapolis. Myers will compete on the first of the four-day event on Friday, Feb. 20.
The LaVergne, Tenn. native played in the 2015 Reese’s Senior Bowl last month following a standout campaign at TSU.
Myers was the only offensive player to start all 12 contests and anchored a unit that did not allow a sack during the last four ballgames. The guard also helped protect a quarterback duo that threw for 3,268 yards and 23 touchdowns.
He led the OL-unit to a No. 18 ranking in FCS, giving up only 1.17 sacks per game, earning him a spot on the All-OVC Second Team for the second straight year.
Myers is the third former Tiger to be invited to the combine as Kadeem Edwards and AC Leonard represented TSU in 2014.
