Texas Southern Football home games slated to be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet

HOUSTON, Texas -- Texas Southern University is pleased to announce that the TSU Tigers Athletics program has reached a renewal agreement with AT&T SportsNet to have all of the Tigers five home football games broadcast on the network during the upcoming football season.

 
"We're very excited to once again partner with AT&T SportsNet for the broadcasting of our home football games," said TSU Vice President of Athletics Dr. Charles McClelland.  "The brand awareness, visibility and overall exposure our football program receives from this partnership is truly extraordinary and we look forward to giving viewers of our games an exciting season of Tigers Football." 
 
Texas Southern Fans can tune into all of the action on AT&T SportsNet this season as Butch Alsandor returns to the booth to handle play-by-play duties with color analyst Jorge Vargas.
 
The first broadcast of the season is slated for Saturday, September 1st at 7:00 pm as the Tigers host UT-Permian Basin at BBVA Compass Stadium.  

Following their home opener the Texas Southern Tigers will subsequently host Alabama A&M (Oct. 6), Grambling State (Oct. 13), and Miss. Valley State HC (Oct. 27), before closing out the home portion of their schedule against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 17).
