With a focus on improved user-friendly functionality and navigation, the new high-tech website platform will provide JSU student-athletes, personnel, fans, alumni, supporters, friends, prospective student-athletes and site visitors with a cleaner and more user-friendly platform. This includes larger images and a series of layers that will effectively promote JSU Athletics and Jackson State University.“Our new athletics website really raises the bar,” added Dennis Driscoll, JSU Associate Athletic Director for Sports Media. “Everyone that will look at our new website will find an enhanced website with easy access to team pages, larger images, and videos. We believe that everyone will love our new look.”
New features of gojsusports.com will also include a revamped drop-down menu that will improve navigation to the site’s most-visited pages and Social Media sticky bars. A larger main story image and more description for other featured stories will provide an array of the most recent news and happenings regarding Tiger Athletics. Automated schedules of upcoming events and recent results of the latest athletic contests also adorn the new website. A link to a full calendar of events that can be sorted by month or by sport and a video section that can display four videos at once with the ability to play directly within the site are also featured. An enhanced Photo Gallery that captures the excitement of Tiger Athletics stretches the width of the screen while enhanced student-athlete player bio pages with pictures, current stats, career stats, and season highs are easily viewed within the game recaps design with improved stat graphics and images. In addition, Tiger fans will also be provided the opportunity to purchase over 1500 officially licensed Tiger merchandise items via the easily accessible online store.
