DOVER, Del. - Kermit Blount has two reasons to look forward to bringing Delaware State to Oliver C. Dawson Stadium this Saturday to face 25th-ranked South Carolina State.
The first one for the first-year Hornets' head coach is returning to familiar surroundings at a school where he previously served as an assistant coach under Willie Jeffries.
The second reason is the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opener allows his team to quickly move forward from last Saturday's forgettable 45-0 rout at the hands of in-state rival and sixth-ranked Delaware.
