WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina -- Coach Bobby Collins says this was one of the hardest weeks he’s had in his career.
It was a hard week because the Rams lost to Livingstone 75-72 on Saturday and instead of playing another game a couple of days later the Rams have had to wait a week to play again.
“It was an extremely hard week,” Collins said on Friday morning when reached at his office.
The 24th-ranked Rams are 16-4 overall and 3-2 in the CIAA’s Southern Division.
Collins, who is very competitive, knows that the best way to get over a loss is to get to the next game but that next game was seven days away.
The Rams will take on St. Augustine’s at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Gaines Center.
