SCOTT, Louisiana — Acadiana High senior offensive lineman Myles Davis didn't really know what to expect during the recruiting process, but what he did know was that he wanted someone to give him an opportunity to fulfill his dream of playing college football.
Davis will receive that opportunity in the SWAC as he has issued a verbal commitment to the Grambling State University Tigers and will sign his national letter of intent on Wednesday.
"I'm really excited about the opportunity to not only play college football, but to play at Grambling," Davis said. "It worked out really well because Grambling is close to home, it's not a bad drive and it is a small city just like where I'm from."
Davis, who is a 6-foot-7 348-pound right tackle for the Rams, believes missing out on the majority of his junior season due to injury played a major role in the lack of offers he received to play on the next level.
