HOUSTON, Texas -- The Texas Southern Men's and Women's basketball teams will open conference play this upcoming weekend as they both get set to face Alcorn State at home at the H&PE Arena.This women's game will start at 3:00 pm followed by the men's contest at 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 4th. TSU's women's team is headlined by Jazzmin Parkers who is currently one of the top scorers in the nation.
The men are lead by transfer standout Aaric Murray. Murray posted a NCAA season high 48 points versus Temple last month.
