The first of those regattas, the Pirates Team Race, will open the season on Feb. 28-March 1, before the team heads to Norfolk, Va. for the ODU Spring Open. Then the Pirates will head to Williamsburg, Va. on March 21-22 for the William & Mary Spring Open.
The Pirates will return to Strawberry Banks on March 28-29 for the MAISA/SAISA Intersectional. This will mark the seventh straight year in which Hampton has hosted this regatta.
On April 4-5, the Pirates will be in King's Point, N.Y. for the Team Race Challenge, and the top two teams in that event will qualify for the Prosser trophy, which will be held in King's Point, N.Y. on April 11-12, the following weekend.
Hampton will either be competing in the Thompson Trophy or the Navy Spring Open on April 18-19, before the MAISA Women's Championship takes place in Saint Mary's City, Md. on April 25-26.
The America Trophy will be held at ODU on May 2-3. The Pirates qualified for the America Trophy, which serves as the MAISA co-ed championship, for the first time last season – finishing 16th in the regatta.
