So far, so good for N.C. A&T's two-quarterback system
GREENSBORO, North Carolina — The quarterback competition at N.C. A&T can even spill over into an interview after practice on a sunny day.
It’s a simple question: Do you guys make each other better?
And there’s a scramble to answer first.
“Every day,” senior Kwashaun Quick blurts out.
“Absolutely,” redshirt freshman Lamar Raynard says a split-second later.
At the midpoint of A&T’s season, the Aggies (4-1, 2-0 MEAC) continue to use a two-quarterback rotation. So far, so good.
Quick and Raynard share the job, splitting playing time from game to game based on performance. Quick has started each of the last four. Raynard started the opener and has played in all five.
