| JCSU VOLLEYBALL ROSTER SCHEDULE |
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina -- After cancellations related to Hurricane Florence, the Johnson C. Smith volleyball team returns to action Thursday (9/20) when the Golden Bulls travel to Raleigh to face the Lady Falcons of Saint Augustine's University.
JCSU (5-4) is currently riding a five match winning streak including a sweep of Northern Division opponents (Bowie State, Lincoln (Pa), Virginia Union) at the season's first CIAA Roundup.
St. Aug (1-5) is looking to build on winning its first match of the season before entering CIAA Roundup II.
JCSU will be led by last week's CIAA Rookie of the Week Karizma Brooks. The Freshman from San Antonio, Tx. is averaging nearly two kills per set so far this season including three matches with double digit kills.
Taylor Smith, Gorana Bogdanovic and Anteesha Smoots join Brooks as top scorers on the team.
Joi Haywood leads the team in assists.
