QUOTES FROM SATURDAY'S GAME
"It was an outstanding performance by our offense today. The defense has been playing well all season and stepped up in some critical moments as the game unfolded. We are really proud that we could deliver a win on homecoming in front of a great crowd today."
-Head Coach Cedric Pearl
"We look forward to our homecoming game every year and it means a lot to be able to win as a senior. Coach Pearl put together an excellent game plan and it worked. My goal was to take advantage of the coverages that they were giving us. We will celebrate the win tonight but our attention will immediately turn to a good opponent next week in Robert Morris University."
-Quarterback Trent Mays
"We really needed a win today to help spark us going forward. I thought our offensive line played great. My goal was to give my maximum effort and do everything the coaches tell us to do. We did that today and came out on top."
-Running Back Terraris Saffold
"A win like this really means everything. We feel like we are starting to come together on both sides of the ball. Coach did a great job of calling a play that caught the other team by surprise and I was able to execute on the fake punt. I really should have scored but I am thankful that it led to a touchdown. We all need to keep doing whatever it takes to win."
-Center Darius Thomas
