MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- Coming off a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) victory against four-time defending East champion, Alcorn State, Hornets head coach Donald Hill-Eley met with the media for his weekly press conference.
Alabama State (2-3, 1-1 SWAC) used five overtimes and a 37-yard field goal on the final play of the game to defeat Alcorn State 28-25 in Lorman (Miss.) and now set their sights on South Alabama, an FBS-member school from the Sun Belt Conference.
Kick is set for 4 pm at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile (Ala.), with the game carried on ESPN3. Fans can also listen to the contest on the Hornet Sports Network beginning at 3:30 pm with the pregame show.
