Hampton University Sailing Qualifies for Co-Ed Showcase Finals

BOSTON, Massachusetts – The Hampton University sailing team competed in the Co-Ed Showcase Preliminaries this weekend sailing the Charles River in Boston and finished 17th in the power packed regatta.

Hampton qualified for the Co-Ed Final Showcase to be held in Annapolis, Md. at the U.S. Naval Academy on October 20-21.

In A Division, Luca Taglialegne and Elisabeth Kuester had four top seven finishes in 16 races for 203 points.  The B Division group of Filip Stevanovic and Mercedes Matlock combined for 244 points in the 16 races.
