NORMAL, Alabama – Head Coach James Spady has completed his staff, signed 25 players, taken the returning players through conditioning and moved his wife and kids to Huntsville, Alabama.
Now the fun begins as Spady and company open their 2014 spring football practices on Friday, April 4, at 7:00 p.m.
The first of 15 meetings has been designated as Friday Night Under the Lights. Bulldog football has invited everyone as practice will be open.
On the offensive side of the ball Spady will have to replace running back Barrington Scott who rushed for 1,070 yards out of the 1,840 yards the team rushed for in 2013. Scott also led the team with 44 points scored.
On the defensive side Spady looks to replace five players who totaled 278 tackles out of the 861 the team posted last season.
