HOUSTON (FOX 26) -- College basketball
sources told FOX 26 Sports Jacksonville University (Fla.) has received permission from Texas Southern to interview Tigers men's basketball coach Mike Davis.Davis took over the TSU program two years ago and led the Tigers to the SWAC regular season championship while the program was on NCAA probation.
He led TSU to a 16-2 conference record in 2013, but the school was barred from postseason play.
Davis followed that success by leading the Tigers to the SWAC Postseason Tournament title in 2014, landing the school's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2003.
