JACKSON, Mississippi -- No player from Jackson State has received an invite to the NFL scouting combine, at least in the last four years. That possibly extends longer.So for former JSU players Ariane McCree, Tobias Singleton and Jaydell Roy, stepping inside Lucas Oil Stadium, during the week-long showcase, was special enough.
The three made the trip to Indianapolis last week, spending three days at the event. Although they didn't get to participate, they hope the knowledge they brought back will help them turn heads in today's pro day at the Madison Healthplex Performance Center (2:30 p.m.).
