Hurricane Florence Affects Chowan Hawks Athletic Events

MURFREESBORO, North Carolina – In preparation of Hurricane Florence's track affecting the East Coast of the Carolina's and into Virginia, Chowan University and the Athletic Department has postponed all athletic activities until further notice.

Chowan University has canceled classes effective at 5pm on Tuesday, September 11 until further notice.  The University is monitoring the storm and suggest students evacuate campus.

at Lees-McRae – Sept. 15 – POSTPONED

Men's Soccer

at Lees-McRae – Sept. 15 – POSTPONED

Volleyball

at Lincoln (Pa.) – Sept. 17 – POSTPONED

at Palmetto Invitational – CANCELED

Men's and Women's Cross Country

at Adidas XC Challenge – CANCELED
