2018-19 Men's Basketball Schedule
The 2018-19 season also features a trip to Florida for the Panthers. Virginia Union will compete in the Eckerd Thanksgiving Classic in St. Petersburg, Fla. VUU will face host Eckerd College on Friday, November 23, and then play the University of Tampa on Saturday, November 24.
"We are really excited about our schedule this year," said VUU Men's Head Basketball Coach Jay Butler. "When you get an opportunity to play a great program like Duke University, it shows the progress our program has made the last couple of years. We have a tough non-conference schedule against some NCAA teams in Shippensburg University, Queens University, and Eckerd College. This non-conference schedule will prepare us for another strong CIAA conference schedule."
