Morehouse Maroon Tigers Cross Country Finishes First at the Robert Shumake HBCU Challenge

RESULTS
CARY, North Carolina - The Morehouse College cross country team finished first in the Robert Shukake HBCU Challege Saturday morning in Cary, N.C.

The Maroon Tigers finished first out of 16 schools and 104 runners.  Bringing in big points and placing in the top-10 were runners Trey Simons who finished first, Collins Kiplimo (Kenya) finished sixth, and Randy Carter who finished ninth. MHC had an average time of 26:48 which marked the best time this season.

Morehouse scored 93 points beating out Florida Atlantic with 104, NC A&T with 113, Benedict with 198 and St. Augustine's with 26
  2 for the victory.

The Maroon Tigers will travel to Charlotte, N.C. this Friday, Oct. 12 to compete in the Queens University of Charlotte Invitational.
