GRAMBLING, Louisiana -- Grambling’s rent-a-win Monday night nearly spiraled out of control.
Mired in a 32-game losing streak and facing an opponent whose only win of the season came against a four-year Christian school with an enrollment of approximately 180 students, the Tigers’ best opportunity for their first win in nearly two years almost vanished.

Grambling got in the win column with an 83-75 victory over Central Baptist College, halting any talk of the Tigers approaching Towson’s 41-game losing streak — the longest in Division I history.
In the process, GSU(1-4) snapped a 25-game non-conference losing streak dating back to 2010.
