TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Last month, for the first time in the NFL draft era, which started in 1967, no players were selected out of the MEAC or SWAC.
The Major League Baseball Amateur Draft is this week, and one FAMU Rattler is focused on not being left out.
FAMU's Bennie Robinson has a good shot of getting picked in this year's Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.
"I'm just going to wait for the call, I'm going to go about my day. Probably be on the field working out. Just go about my day and when it happens, it happens," Robinson said.
If it happens, it won't change him, still the likable kid with the big smile. As far as the scouts are concerned there is plenty to like.
