GREENSBORO, North Carolina — Back in the driver’s seat with a clear road ahead, N.C. A&T is no longer looking back.On a perfect fall day that brought back memories of the way it was once upon a time, the Aggies knocked off MEAC power Bethune-Cookman 24-14 and took control of the conference again.
Like old times.
The win, coupled with Morgan State’s loss to Hampton, gave A&T the outright lead in the MEAC at the mid-point of the season. Rod Broadway now has to keep his team focused on what’s directly in front of the Aggies.
That would be Homecoming Weekend and all the distractions that come with it. Broadway will remind his players what he’s been telling them all season.
Don’t look back.
