Holloway redshirted as a freshman for the Mountaineers in 2012 and was expected to compete for a starting job at running back.
“I really enjoy everything down at (Florida A&M),” Holloway said.
“I like the coaching staff. I think we’ve got all the pieces. Football was wonderful at Appalachian State, but I just didn’t enjoy Appalachian State outside of the football experience.”
Holloway said he expects to major in Criminal Justice at Florida A&M.
